What Is Distance Education

I am very thankful to Lovely Professional University DE for giving me the wonderful opportunity of doing my Master's degree. DE students, in unison with regular students from Sikkim, were adjudged 2nd Runners up in One India 2018, a mega event characterized by gaiety, colours and enthusiasm of festivals. Distance Education Programs of Lovely Professional University are making its students industry-ready. This is evident at Logiciel Solutions Ltd.; a Ludhiana based Software Company, where the majority of the employees are either the alumni or active students of various Computer Applications and IT related DE programmes of LPU. That is what 83-year-old, LPU DE Student Mr. Sohan Singh Gill proved when he earned his Master's degree in English on September 18, 2019 during 10th convocation of LPU.

Grants are often given on a per-needs basis and scholarships are available for everything under the sun. If you are serious about attending college, you generally know this by the time you enter high school. Apply for every scholarship you can qualify for to accumulate funds in advance, and keep those grades up and activities current. While lower college tuition rates can be tempting, cost isn't the only factor to consider as you help your child select a school. Instead, think carefully about the value they're getting for the money you're spending. Also known as Qualified Tuition Programs or Prepaid Education Arrangements , 529 prepaid tuition plans allow families to buy all or part of a public in-state education at present-day prices.

Derisma claimed that “using state taxes to fund public education has the potential to create funding insecurities. To begin, state tax revenues are largely generated from income and sales taxes. Income and sales tax revenue are not stable sources and have the propensity to drop in times of recession” (p. 122). The claim shows that funding insecurities in low-income areas are likely to inconvenience those living in those areas and children in school face the same issue. Under CRRSA, governors will divvy up about $4 billion in aid, $1.3 billion of that for public schools and for higher education institutions most significantly impacted by the pandemic. Another $2.75 billion can go to private and parochial K-12 schools for such things as equipment, training, staff and other expenses needed to keep schools running.
